Day 1 New Delhi to Agra

Day 2 Agra to Jaipur 250 Kms and 5 hrs drive time

Sunrise visit of Taj Mahal

Another magical viewing come at dawn. In the early hours we enter the great gates and catch a

breathtaking sight of the rising sun as it warms the pristine marble domes, and in the rosy mist it seems

as though the entire jewel like monument is floating on the lake of light. After breakfast back at the

hotel we leave for Jaipur, driving through vibrant Rajasthani villages, Passing through this colorful

countryside we witness scenes that are the same today as they were 2000 year ago – a wedding

procession perhaps, a village fair, or a simple gathering of gaily clad women gossiping at a water

fountain. In the fields we glimpse brightly turbaned men driving the oxen and plough and women

threshing grain or sowing seeds. Their gold adornments flash in the sun, and they seem like a flock of

bejeweled birds with their brilliant saris billowing in the soft breeze. On the way stop at Fatehpursikri

magical Ghost city Mughal Palace. Build by Emperor Akbar in 1597. this glorious complex stands today

unchanged, the elaborately carved sandstone and marble as crisp as it was 400 years ago, still

exemplifying the atmosphere of Akbar’s cultured and enlightened court. Adjoining Diwane-I-Am (Hall of

Public) is the Parchesi Courtyard where Akbar’s Ladies frolicked as playing pieces on the outsize

checkerboard. We will reach jaipur, the Pink City in the early evening and drive directly to a magnificent

Day 3

There is much to see in and around the Jaipur city and one of the most pleasant excursions is the visit ot

the old fort city of Amber. Past hills whose every peak is fortified we drive between narrow cliffs of wild

bouganvillia flower to the palace that seems to grow out of the rocky hill rising above Maona Lake, the

former capital of the extensive Jaipur state. An elephant ride bnrings us to the impressive courtyard of

the fortress Palace of Amber. The bejeweled interior increases in richness as the small rooms rise along

decorated passageways finally reaching the exquisite Sheesh Mahal, the Hall of Mirrors. There is not an

inch of this fairytale palace that is not covered with paintings, carvings, silver and gold ornaments,

stained glass, mother of pearls inlays and marble intarsia everything your eye alights upon in spangled

and shimmering in the golden Indian light! After lunch we tour the City Palace Complex one of the most

daring and successful synthesis of Mughal and Rajput styles according to the Baroda Maharja of.

Driving through the city we marvel at the Hawa Mahal, the Palace fo the winds, the improbable fretted

five story building only one room deep where the royal women in Purdah could watch the world go by

Mantar Royal Observatory, the Govind Temple and the Central Museum.

Day 4

Jaipur to Jodhpur 275 km driver time approx 6 hrs

After morning breakfast proceed to Jodhpur through the most interesting contours of the desert

landscape, the enchanting forts, temples, other royal residences and settlements retain its medieval

character and comprise the town’s multifaceted attractions. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of trhe

day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Jodhpur city

After the breakfast at hotel we will visit the majestic Fort Mehrangarh, which dominates and offers

spectacular vistas of the blue-hued city.

After the fort visit we will visit Jaswant Thada- white marble mausoleum built in 1899 in the memory of

Maharaja Jaswant Singh and visit the Museum in the gardens of Umaid.

after the lunch break we will visit mandore Garden- the ancient capital of the Pratihara Rajputs, whose

most remarkable monuments are the royal cenotaphs, particularly those of Jaswant Singh and Ajit Singh.

Day 6

Jodhpur-Kumbalgarh –Ranakpur Udaipur (275 km 7 hrs driver time)

After breakfast on surface drive to Udaipur the city to Lake of India. There is no place in Rajasthan,

which appeals more to the imagination of poets and painter travelers and writers than Udaipur, an oasis

in the desert state of Rajasthan. Enroute we will visit the Jain Temple at Ranakpur. Superbly preserved

in a near perfect condition for over 500 years. The mosrt attractive features are the 29th hall of the

temple. Which have 1444 pillars of which no two are like and continue drive to Udaipur and our next

stop is Kumbhalgarh- famous for Fort converted into hotel, one can have lunch there, continue drive to

Day 7


After morning breakfast visit famous temple Eklingi and Nagda, which enshrines the deity of the

maharana’s of Mewar. Spend the rest of the day exploring this charming lake city by car.

Afternoon visit to City Palace grounds and museum, which are the testament the valour and chivalry of

the Mewar rulers. Visit Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8


Morning breakfast on surface driver to Pushkar. Quite an d traditional, Pushkar is a heaven for tourist

searching for respite. A religious town built round the lake. Pushkar holds its sancity on account of the

legend that Lord Brahma and his wife saraswati performed a ritual in the lake here. On arrival check in

hotel overnight stay at hotel.

In the evening visit Brahma temple of the world and thereafter intermingle with the local colour in the

local bazaar.

Day 9
